- Project details like the type of bathroom work you want, your timing, whether it is a shower, tub, tile, flooring, or full remodel project, and notes you choose to share
- Basic device and website data like IP address, browser type, pages visited, and how you found our site
- Messages you send us through forms, calls, email, or chat

We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or other sensitive financial records to use our matching service.

How we use your information

We use your information to run and improve the service.

1. To match you with remodelers who serve your area and fit your project type
2. To contact you about your request, including by phone, text, or email, if you ask us to help with a match
3. To improve the website by understanding which pages people use and where the process is confusing
4. To prevent spam, abuse, or fraud and keep the service working properly
5. To comply with legal obligations when required

If you ask to be matched, we may share your contact and project details with participating remodelers so they can contact you about your project. Matching is free to homeowners. Participating remodelers pay TileQuarter a flat fee to take part.

TileQuarter is not a remodeler or contractor. You compare quotes, you choose who to hire, and you should verify license and insurance yourself before signing anything. Our guide on how to vet a bathroom contractor can help.

Your choices

You have control over how you use the service.

• You can choose not to submit a form
• You can ask us to update or correct the information you gave us
• You can ask us to stop contacting you for matching follow-up
• If a remodeler contacts you and you are not interested, you can tell that remodeler to stop contacting you as well
• You can limit some browser tracking by adjusting your browser privacy or cookie settings

If you want help but prefer to share less detail at first, that is fine. The more accurate your project information is, the better the match usually is, but you should only share what is needed for the project.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described on this page, including matching, customer support, recordkeeping, and legal or security needs.

How long that is depends on the kind of information and why it was collected. For example, we may keep basic request records for a period of time so we can answer questions, resolve disputes, improve the service, and document consent or communication history.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we aim to delete it, de-identify it, or securely store it in a limited-access format.

Third parties and protection

We use service providers and technology tools to help operate the website, manage forms, store data, measure traffic, and communicate with users. Those providers may process information on our behalf.

No website or data system can promise perfect security. We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but internet transmission and storage always carry some risk.
